Independent assurance helps sponsors understand the evidence behind a programme's status and act on the risks that matter.
Capmark reviews scope, plans, dependencies, vendor commitments, design, testing and readiness across the programme. We identify the implications for delivery and set out practical recommendations.
Where recovery is required, we help reset the baseline, governance and commitments and can lead the agreed recovery work.
What we do
The expertise we bring.
We review the programme’s own evidence: scope, plan, risks, issues, dependencies, test coverage, defect trends, vendor performance, readiness and decision logs. Sponsors receive a clear view of what is on track, what is at risk and what action is required.
When delivery has slipped, we run a rapid delivery review and reset scope, plan, governance, commercial commitments and decision rights into one credible re-baseline. We then lead the recovery through to delivery where required.
We hold the solution design baseline across vendor configuration, internal build, controls, data and integration. Requirements remain traceable through design, build, testing, acceptance and evidence.
We assure testing and readiness across system testing, user acceptance, migration, non-functional testing, controls, reconciliation and operational readiness. Entry and exit criteria are enforced and evidence is retained.
We build the readiness scorecard, run the go/no-go process and make recommendations based on evidence. The gate covers defects, controls, migration, reconciliation, user readiness, support model, rollback and hypercare.
What to expect
A team shaped around the work.
A health check typically runs in about three weeks: evidence first, then structured interviews, then findings in plain language with a recommended path.
Retained assurance runs on the programme’s cadence, reporting independently to the SRO, sponsor or board each period.
A Capmark Principal leads throughout. The same team can convert to recovery ownership where the findings demand it.
