Overview

A fund's platform estate — registry and administration, investment systems, custody interfaces, member channels and the data between them — usually grows by accretion: each merger and each programme adds systems, and few take any away. The result is duplicated platforms and member data models that no longer describe one member consistently.

We work on the estate as a whole. The technology road map is set against the fund's scale and strategy, administration, investment and custody systems are connected so data moves without manual re-entry, and the member data foundation — ownership, quality at source, lineage and a single view of the member — is fixed so retirement income products and digital service are built on reliable ground.

We deliver the change as well as design it. Operating-model and architecture work runs into programme delivery, migration and cutover, and we stay until the new platforms and processes run as everyday operations.

What we do

We assess the platform estate as it stands, set the target architecture against the fund's scale and product plans, and sequence the road map behind the products and services the fund is building — each step fundable and useful on its own.

What to expect

Road-map work usually takes weeks rather than months: the estate mapped, options assessed with the fund's own teams, and a sequenced plan the board can fund. Delivery then runs in stages, each with its own rehearsal and cutover, and we stay through stabilisation rather than leaving at design.
