The opportunity

Run the hardest parts of delivery: the design decisions, dependencies and stakeholders that determine whether a programme lands.

What you will work on

  • Own the design and delivery of a major workstream on a front-to-back change programme.
  • Hold the pen on target operating model, process and control design with client leadership.
  • Direct analysts and consultants, and coordinate engineering and vendor teams against the design.
  • Identify delivery risk early, put options in front of the engagement lead and drive the chosen path.

What you will deliver

  • Design decisions that hold: documented, agreed and built to.
  • A delivery plan for your workstream that survives contact with reality.
  • Client capability: the people who will run the outcome are ready to own it.

What we are looking for

  • Five to nine years across consulting and industry in financial services or energy markets.
  • A track record of taking significant change from design through to live operation.
  • Credibility with heads of desk, operations, risk or finance, earned by knowing the detail.
  • Right to work in the UK or Australia.

Experience that will help you succeed

  • Deep knowledge of at least one domain: trading, post-trade, treasury, risk or finance.
  • Platform delivery experience: Murex, Calypso, an ETRM or comparable core system.
  • Experience leading small teams under delivery pressure.

Additional experience we value

  • Regulatory programme delivery and regulator-facing evidence work.
  • Cutover and migration leadership on live systems.
  • Commercial exposure: shaping scope, estimates and proposals.
